10.  Big Jake is the tallest horse in the world. He is 82 inch or 210 centimetres tall. He is a Belgian gelding horse and he lives on a farm in Wisouncisn Untied States. Big Jake is a legend among the locals and he was recordedd few years in a row up to date as the tallest in guiness book of world records. A normal day is his diet would include one and a half  bales of hay and 40 quarts of oats per day.
Other than being the tallest , Big jake is a normal horse on a normal farm leading a good life and exercise every day, being ridden or driving a chariot with other horses. 


9.   Goldie is one of the largest pet goldfish in the world and it measures an impressive 15 inch or 38 centimetres. carrying one of the most used names for a gold fish, it weighs 2 pounds 900 grams which is pretty big for this kind of indoor fishtanks companion.
The fish was bought by his owner for 99 cents and and it measured only one inch or approximately 3 centimetres 15 years ago. 


However Goldie is not the largest goldfish ever recorded in the world. The record is held by the longest goldfish owner by a man from Netherlands and the size from the snot to the tails was measured to be 18.7 inches or 47 centimetres


8. Ulric – 30 pound 13 kg  cat was believed to be the fattest cat in Britain. Ulric is suffering from chronic obese due to a lazy lifestyle and plenty of food. The cat owner, Jan Mitchell of Dorchester UK, has enrolled Ulric into a pet fitness competition, to avoid a further health issues. 
Despite the fact Ulric is famous  and cute due to unusual size, the owner has really concerns about the beloved cat health.
Elric is a Norwegian forest cat and it is twice as big as he should be.  


7.Giant George is a 43 inch tall (109 centimetres) great Dane in Arizona and it was recognised as the tallest dog ever by Guinness World Records book. He appeared in 2010 in the Oprah show in 2010 due to its size and attracted a lot of media attention. This is a dog which has a website and facebook account but unfortunately it died in 2013 at the age of 7. 
He used to eat more than 180 pounds of food per month, and had to sleep on a queen size mattress. A normal meal would consisted off 2 cups of rice, one cup of dog food, 1 cup of chicken and five tablesopoon of yougurt.
Giant Georege was owned by Dave Nasser from Tucson Arizona who actually published a book about how to live with his dog, available on Amazon

6.       Gary is the largest rodent pet weighing 112 pounds or 50 kilos. he is a giant guinea pig called capybara and he was adopted by an american family from Venezuela during their holidays. Melanie and her husband Richard feel in love with this animal and brought him back to Texas where they have built for him to remind him from his natural habitat. 
Gary is living in harmony among many other animals in this texan household including a horse, rabbits, dogs and cats. 
the owners are saying that gary is loving the attention, loves the grass and to be pet by children when ho goes to local schools to visit.

5.       Christian  was a lion born in captivity in 1969 in a zoo in London uk.  It was purchased as a small cub by 2 friends Rendall and Bourke from Harrods, a department store in London. which had an entire zoo department, where one could buy all kinds of animals, from lions, to tigers, snakes monkeys and birds. 
They paid $3500 pounds or $4300 USD in todays value. They looked after Christian for about a year when they decided to release him into the wild in Africa. 
Randall and Bourke managed to take Christian into Kenya and leave him in a natural reserve under supervision of an experienced conservationist named Adamson, who has previous experience with lions. 
the 2 friends have visited their lion one year after their separation and the video of their reunion made one of the earliest youtube sensations and become viral in 2008 with over 50 million views. 



4.       Darius is the largest rabbit in the world recorded in the Guinness World Records.He is more than 4 feet or 1.2 meters long and it weighs around 55 pounds or about 24 kilos. Like many animals here, Darius and made the news across the world after getting recorder in the Gunnies World Records book. 
Darius has a son Jeff and they are living together with other animals. They have a website and the owners are selling the the babies as a business.
Darius is a continental Giant rabbit and he beat the record as the largest rabbit in the world from his mum Alice. 


3. Bandit was the fatest racoon pet in the world. he lived in Pennsylvania United States and he weighed 75 pounds or 34 kilos. He lived for 10 years between 1994 and 2004 and he got a lot of attention in the media and recorded in the guiness book of World Records.
Banit was raised by a surrogate dog mother and later he was adopted by a women Deborah Kitsch. He loved fast food and he was a regular at Ice Cream Works. The women denied she was overfeeding bandit, however the racoon had a thyroid gland health problem, otherwise he could not reach 3 times the size and the weight of a normal racoon.


2.   Esther 670 pounds or 300 kilos pet pig. Esther was initially a cutte little big adopted by Steve and Derek from Canada. What was believed to be a dwarf piglet which over time turned into a massive 670 punds pig. The loving family got attached to this animal which proved not to be only meat on the table like the rest of the world would expect, but a friendly, smart and loving house companion. After Esther become their beloved friend and pet, Steve and Derek decided to stop eating pork and became vegans.
They are not the only ones having a pig as a pet, there are many others, however raising a pig inside the house is not for everyone.



1.       Chamroeun is a 16 ft oor 4.8 meters and  220 pounds or 100 kg female python who is the best friend of a young cambodgian boy named Uorn. When the boy was only 3 months old, th mother found the snake in bed. The snake was so small at the time, just like a finger. She kept the snake as a pet for her son and they grew up together and become inseparable


The boy sleeps on the snake  coils, rides it and pats it down with baby powder as a sign of affection. 
the special bond between them caught a lot af attention from the locals an edit become international with people visiting them from all around the world.

Snake experts are saying that pythons will not attack humans unless provoked. Also Pythons are not venomous and usually they are killing their prey by asfixiation.

10. hidradenitis suppurativa
this is an inflammatory condition of the sweat glands under the arms, under breasts, inner thighs, groin and buttocks. The sweat glands get swollen and outbreaks are painful, and might take a long time to heal, as they may persist due to cycles of inflammation and drainage of pus, which leads to further scarring, open wounds and lesions.
if untreated and repeated, the condition leads to formation of sinus tracts and tunnels inside the tissue, connecting abscesses and infected areas. At this stage complete healing becomes a challenge, and the only way to deal with it, is to stop the spread by surgery.
This condition leads to low self esteem, emotional stress, excessive sweating, hormonal change, and depression.

9. adiposis Dolorosa
or anders disease is a rare condition affecting obese people. It consists of multiple painful skin tumours on the body extremities. How this disease works is still unknown, but it is estimated that due to excessive fat tissue on the human body, the nervous system will stop working normally due to constant and increased pressure on nerves.
The diseases is manifested by painful body skin areas and leads to weakness and fatigue, emotional instability, depression, epilepsy, confusion and dementia.
like many other diseases today, there are many drugs treating the symptoms, however the best way to eliminate the cause is to loose weight.

8. madura foot

it is the result of a fungus spreading usually on the legs. as a result of a weak body immune system which cannot fight the infection, this disease is difficult to diagnose in early stages as there is no pain involved.
Once infected, the fungus spreads into the body, causing eruptions and secretions and series irreversible tissue damage, ending up with significant swelling and discharges from the feet.

this disease affects currently one million people around the world and can result in death if not treated immediately, especially the infections affecting critical organs of the body such as brain, heart lungs and liver.

Thought the history people believed the limbs will fall off which is not true, however the infected people will loose the ability to feel pain, the limbs and extremities become numb, the tissues are regressing. Due to lack of pain, the damage to the body go unnoticed and lead to other infections and secondary infections and diseases.
Lepsoy has affected humanity since the beginning and the most common way to fight is is quarantine.  Leer colonies have been built where victims have been isolated. they still exist today but the good news is that the condition can be treated by modern medicine with a multi drug therapy


5. Filariasis
is a parasitic disease caused by an infection with a roundworm, spread by flies and mosquitos. one the larvae is inserted into the body develops in the adult worm which remains into one tissue, however once mature it would release its larvae into the blood stream causing the infection spread in other parts of the body
the most spectacular type of this worm is the elephantiases , or the elephant man diseases. the results of this infection are thickening of the skin, and underlaying tissue of the extremities, ears, hands, nose, fingers.
another subcategory of this worm is the river blindness, where a warm is present in the eye and cause blindness at the end.
There are many types of worms affecting many human body parts and once contracted life will never be the same. There are available treatments today with different drugs which are breaking the worms lifecycle, but less effective on the adult worms already present inside the body.

4. myiasis
is another parasitic infestation of the body, caused by fly larvae maggots that grow under the skin and feeding on the tissue. Usually the fly is interested in open wound, but there are species which would attack and penetrate unbroken healthy skin.
the parasite can choose humans and other mama species, such livestock, sheep and cows.
if the humans can observe the maggots and can treat them immediately, the problem is with sheep or livestock where the infection can go unnoticed.
myiasis can affect the human body in many forms, depending of the location on the body such as skin,. eyes, stomach, intestines. The larvae will thrive mostly in an open wound making them easy to detect and treat.
body hygiene is the best way to prevent.

10. insects and worms

Insects and worms are regarded by the vast majority of people in the world disgusting, and repulsive. however there are parts of our planet where they are consumed as mass food, even delicacies. In thailand, the street food can contain a wide variety of bugs, crickets, cockroaches, worms and larvae which can be prepared as fried, or marinated, crisp or juicy. they can be served as individual dishes, store fried, snakes or part of other dishes.
it has been demonstrated that they are high in protein vitamins and minerals and only our minds prevent us for enjoying insects as foods

9. tuna eyeballs

Japan and China are famous for its abundance of seafood. tuna eyeballs are a particluar dish and it can be found for a relatively low price on supermarket shelves. It comes with a bit of muscle tissue and fat around the eye and they are compared with squid.
the most common way to prepare it is to boil or cook in the oven and season it to taste.


8. rats
for the most of the world rats are one of the most repulsive animals, and having them as food is inconceivable. However there are parts of the world where these disgusting rodents are considered a delicacy. India, China, Vietnam. Cambodia, Phillipines, Indonesia and Thailand are among the countries that think differently. if you visit one of these countries, you would probably need to pay attention what meat is in your hamburger. apparently they taste like chicken or quail, however difficult to want to try to see if this is true.

7. water bug eggs
the water bug are large insects living in North America, Northern Australa and Eastern Asia, and they can be found in freshwater sings and ponds. They female layer her eggs on the male wings and carried until they hatch. Since this water bug is consumed as a dish itself,  however their eggs are considered a delicacy in Asian countries.

6. duck embryos

Philippines are famous for strange foods and the duck embryo is one of them. It is called Balut, which means eggs with legs, or the treat with feet. Fertilised duck eggs are buried into the ground for few weeks to allow the embryo to develop. Before hatching time, the egg is boiled with the bird almost fully developed inside and it is eaten in its shell directly.


5. rotten cheese
This is Casu Marzu, a delicacy eaten in Sardinia Italy,  and it is in fact rotten sheep cheese left for insects to deposit their larvae inside. these larvae will consume the body of cheese and leave behind their excrements. if the larvae die, then it becomes toxic and that is why the dish is banned from many places. however people either remove the live larvae or eat it together before that happens.

4. rotten eggs

Century eggs are a dish from China, and consists off chicken eggs left over several months in a mixture of clay, ash and lime. the chemical will penetrate the eggs shell and turn the white into gel and the yolk into a blue smelly texture.
despite the fact they have a strong sulphur odour, they are being consumed as a delicacy for special occasions, or even day to day snacks.

3. bat soup
Fruit Bats are consumed as food in various parts of Asia and pacific islands. It is considered a clean meat as some species of the bats are living exclusively on fruit. Their meat is compared with chicken and they have a low fat meat, high in protein. Bats can be grilled, deep fired, stir fried or soups.

during cooking they release a strong urine smell, as they retain toxins due to hanging down from tree branches, however it goes away if properly prepared.

studies show that bat food can be linked to few neurological disease, due the the level of toxins build up over time eating seeds which were treated with pesticides.


2. monkey brains
Monkey brain is a dish consisting of parts of the brains of some of human relatives, monkeys and apes as the title suggests. It was probably first time brought to the world's attention by the movie Indiana Jones. In western culture this practice is regarded cruel and strange.

Monkey brains have been eaten in China and Africa, mostly during tribal ceremonies and religious ritual rather than an every day dish.

Consuming the brain and nerve tissue of animals , especially from a mammal so close genetically to humans is regarded a health hazard for contracting diseases.

1. fried tarantulas
Fried tarantulas are a dish consumed in Cambodia and they can be served deep fried, stew and sometimes even alive. they are regarded as delicacy and very nutritious containing protein, folic acid and zinc. There are many spider hunters cashing up tarantulas daily and their capture can be up to 100 per day. Female tarantulas seem to be the favourite and the eggs inside will add more flavour.
Tarantulas are used for traditional medicine to increase man sexual energy and fertility.

Cambodia became a tourist destination for people willing to try anything, visiting crowded spider markets.

10. the iron chair is a metal armchair with spikes. the prisoner or the victim would be placed on it and subjected to interrogation. the iron restraints would be gradually tightened until the spikes would penetrate the skin and the muscles.

it was not designed to immediate death as the spikes were not big enough to damage internal organs, however after sever pain and bleeding, the victim would confess and die later due to bleeding, infection and pain.


9. the water board is an old technique still used today. it takes a very simple form of placing the prisoner down on a board, and water is poured on his face continuously to create the sensation of drowning. in addition, a towel or a piece of fabric will make this tehncique even more vile

this is a terrifying experience for the victim as it can cause extreme pain, dry drowining, damage to the lungs and brain due to oxygen depravation, broken bones due to the struggling against restraints, and eventually death.

If the victim somehow makes it alive, will suffer later in life from severe psychological damage due this cruel and vile torture technique


8. the tucker telephone is a device invented in the 60's by a doctor in the Tucker prison in United States. The device consist of a old telephone wired to battery cells. The idea is to wrap a wore to one of the toes of the prisoner and the genitals.

once in place, the prisoner will suffer an electric shock causing horrible pain. if the prisoner make sit alive after the interrogation, he would have suffered not only damage to internal organs but also insanity to the high level of pain cased to his body.

the method was used also in the Vietnam war, as confessed by american war veterans who made it home in the 60's.

7. the taser is another electric shocking torture method. it is still being used by police forces around the world to parlays the victims body with a strong electric current provided by battery cartridges.

once triggered, 2 pins will enter the body of the victim and a 10,000 volts current will basically paralyse the internal muscles, submitting him or her instantly.

the problem is that the instrument is used not only for crowd control but also for torture of individual already in custody. it is classified as an inhumane, cruel and degrading treatment of human beings.

2. the pear of anguish is a device use in the middle ages for various criminals at the time, including liars, blasphemers, homosexuals, women accused of witchcraft or those who tried an abortion.

it is a pear shaped instrument which was inserted in the anus or vagina. it consist of 4 metal leaves which will expand once the handle is screwed in. this would case and enlargement of the hole and would cause obviously pain.

This method of torture would be followed by others as it would not cause instant death, but internal damage.

1. the crusher is a press designed to break toes, hands, knees or whatever would cause more pain to the victim.

similar to the head crusher, a level would be screwed in with the knee in between the
plates which could have also spikes to make this method even more painful.

it comes in a variety of shapes and sizes and it was used mostly in the middle ages mostly, however there is not proof this is not being used today as well.

10. Didier Montalvo - Turtle Boy


Didier is a colombian Boy with a huge mole on his back. This is a cancer tissue which grew almost on his entire back very fast. He was called the turtle boy because the mole looks like a shell.

The local religious people from his village in Colombia believe that this was the work on the devil, as he was conceived during an eclipse. Unfortunately this made Didier to be rejected by the community and the school.

Happily though, a British surge heard about him and came to Colombia to remove the mole. The operation was a success. Didier was 6 years of age at the time.

Didier resumed a normal happy life and he went back to school

9. Jose from Lisbon, Portugal - facial tumour

Jose started to grow a tumour on his face at the age of 14. it started on the lips and become few kilograms in weight over few years, covering his entire face. he started to have difficulties breathing, eating sleeping, and seeing.

He has spent the next 40 years with this condition, not being able to do anything about it, due to religious beliefs and also lack of a correct diagnostic from doctors.

In 2010 Jose travelled to Chicago to have the face tumour removed. Surgeons successfully removed it in one operation, however his face was reconstructed during another 3 sessions of surgery.

8. Dede - the tree man
Dede is an indonesian man who has suffered from a very rare fungal infections on his body. This infection created tissue growth from the skin, which looks remarkable like tree bark and makes life unbearable, due to difficulty to do anything with the hands or legs.

in 2008 dede went to United states for treatment. Doctors have removed about 6 kilograms of tissue from his body, especially hands and feet.

Unfortunately the operations did not stop the growth and the fungus recovered to Dede's desperation.
So far, no cure has been found for this rare fungus infection.

7. Petero - Uganda boy - deformed head

Petero was born in a small village in Uganda Africa, and he suffers from an extreme  crouzon syndrome. This causes a malformation of the skull. as a result, his eyes are pushed out, and his ears down, making his sight and hearing difficult.

Peter was bullied by his neighbours due to his appearance and he isolated himself from people inside his house. Luckily an american doctor visited the village and met him. He felt bad for the boy and helped him to get into Austin Texas for surgery.

Doctors performed a series of operations to reshape his skull. During one of the operations, Petero developed complications and almost died, however doctors resuscitated him and saved his life. He survived and return to his village in a much better shape than before

6. Rudy Santos - extra limbs
Rudy is a from Phillipnies and suffers from a very rare condition called parasitic twin. That means during pregnancy, a twin brother and sister is not fully developed but attached to the strong foetus.
Rudy has an extra pair of arms and legs and this is how he was born. He also has an undeveloped had with an ear attached to his body.

He become a national celebrity in the 70's when he was publicly discovered during a freak show. He was called the octoman, believed to be a God.

He dissapeared 10 years later and lived in extreme poverty. Found again in 2008 , doctors tried to convince him to undertake surgery, but he refused.

5. Zhang Ruifang is an old Chinese women who grew a goat horn on her forehead. it is actually a mole which appeared later in her life and got the the size of a horn.

 The old lady does not seem to be too bothered about it however it does interfere with her vision. it is inside the field of view and it is a constant distraction.

4. Liu Hau is one of the people with giant hands. He is from China, but cases like his have been documented few times so far.

the boy's left hand has an oversized thumb, index finger and middle finger. the condition is a form of local gygantism and the causes are unknown.

Liu was bullied and isolated from the public due to his body deformity and could not lead a normal life like the other children

Liu went to the Shanghai hospital in 2005 and 5 kilograms of flesh and bones have been removed.

3. Wang Fang is the Chinese woman born with her feet facing the wrong way. despite her condition, she says she can run faster than most of her friends.

She was classified as a disabled person, but she disagrees, and she refused the state pension that she was entitled to receive.

she has got the job of being a waitress in her family restaurant, proving that she can have a normal life.

2. Chen is an asian man suffering from a rare condition called neurofibroma. It is a nerve based tumour which made his left leg to grow uncontrolled since he was just a boy.

What seemed to be localised only to one leg, spread in time to both legs. his tumours has been measured and it weighs over 150 pounds or approximately 70 kilograms.

his condition did not allow him to get out of the bed any more. unfortunately Chen was not confirmed to receive any medical treatment so far, and his life is



1. Huang is the new elephant man with a face tumour. He is from China, and he has serious problems with his life, including talking, seeing or eating, as it is not hard to imagine.

his condition is called neurofibromatosis,  and his case is the worst in the world.

He stayed untreated for the first 30 years of his life, as his parents could not afford a medical surgery. he was offered a place in a freak show but he felt offended and considered suicide.

After his case became public, doctors from the cancer Hospital in Shanghai offered free help, and they undertook a series of surgeries to remove 21 kilograms of facial deformities. operations were successful.

He is happier now and hopes to still have a normal life.

10. Mandy Sellars

She was born in 1975, in United Kingdom, and she is one of the 120 people in the world suffering from a rare genetic condition, that resulted in her legs growing uncontrolled. the disease is called Proteus Syndrome.

She stopped being able to walk by herself at the age of 2, and by the age of 7, doctors recommended to amputate both her legs. her mother refused trying to make her life as normal as possible.

At the age of 19, Mandy has moved out to live on her own. she has studied and obtained and psychology degree, and achieved to live an independent life with no helpers.

In 2010, she had to have her left leg amputated above her knee, and unfortunately after the surgery. unfortunately few month after the surgery, the leg started to grow again making her life even more difficult.

Mandy has appeared in many TV shows and documentaries due to her rare genetic mutation.

9. Miss Silva, the tallest teenage girl in the world.

Elisany Silva is a Brazilian women born in 1991 and is 6 foot 8 or 2.03 meters tall. she suffers from a rare form of gigantism caused by a benign tumour on her pituitary gland. This gland is responsible for human growth. The tumour has been removed by doctors successfully.

Elisany has been suffering all her life from sever joint pains and migrations, and her dream was to become a model, as taken out of the context of her height, she is indeed a beautiful girl.

She made the news by getting married to her 5 foot 4 fiance, Francinaldo, a construction worker, who made her life happy. they have been dating for few years before Francinaldo proposed.

She intends to have a baby today, but her priority is her health. her height come with problems about all aspect of her life, which she struggles to solve every day.

Mikel used to be a normal size women, however after her first born baby, she started to put on weight. Her size proved to be the result of a condition called Lipedema, which is an excessive fat tissue accumulation.

She is a happy married women and she leads a normal life, despite the attention she got after becoming part of the World Record Academy .

She drives a truck as she is not able to get into a normal car. she needs to buy 2 tickets everywhere she goes, bus plane, cinema and so on. Her hips are the reason her husband was attracted to her, according to his declarations.

she is living in Chicago, and she discovered her unusual talent after being hit on the head with a hockey mask.

3. Valeria Lukyanova is an ukrainian model born in 1985, and she is one of the many women obsessed to look like a real life barbie doll.  She uses contact lenses to enhance her cool look, however she claims everything else is natural, except the breast implants.

she mentioned that she maintains her figure with a rigorous  gym work out schedule and a strict diet.
Valeria studied architecture, but found her call as a model due to the barbie look. She become famous after winning beauty contests and posting many photos online.

valeria stated that she will try to stop eating completely, to leave only on air and breathing, however as expected that could not be possible, so she started to eat again with the promise that she will resume this idea again.

in 2014 she was attacked by 2 man outside her home after reaching death threats, and she was hospitalised for a week. after the incident Valeria and her Husband moved to Moscow from odessa, to start a new life and pursue her career further.

Sogen Kato
Sogen was a Japanese man living in Tokyo. When he turned 111 years old, local officials tried to make contact to congratulate him. The family did not allowed to officials to come into the house. Police has been called and a shocking discovery was made: the man has been dead for over 30 years.
Kato’s granddaughter claimed she saw Sogen 30 years ago retreating to his bedroom, locking himself inside, to live with Buddha with no food and water, leading a pure spiritual life.
After Sogen’s wife died as well, the dead man started to collect his dead wife pension.
The granddaughter has been charged with fraud, but never served time,  as her crime was only to live with a dead body.


Le Van
Van was a normal Vietnamese man known to a lot of people as a well behaved peacefull man, btu nobody expected his story to be revealed.
After his wife’s death in 2003, Van started to sleep on her his wife’s grave every night. Sweet and romantic but creepy.
When the weather was too cold, he dug a tunnel to the casket to stay away from the rain. Since this was not comfortable, Van finally dug out his wife one year after burial and took the dead corpse at home, covering it in plastic and clay. He dressed her up and put lipstick on.
This happened for many years and apparently the oldest son used to hug very night the human dead doll.

Carl Tanzler
He was a radiologist in a hospital where Elena de Hoyos was a tuberculosis patient only at the age of 22. Carl fell in love with her, despite the fact he was married with children.
He was convinced that Helena was his soul mate and tried to cure and save her with many untraditional methods.  Elena died eventually in 1931.
Carl designed and built a crypt and sat by her coffin every night to talk to her. He claims she talked back and he exhumed the dead body.
He covered her in wax, tight her limbs with wire, added a fake wig and replaced her eyes with glass ones, until she looked perfect.  He slept with the dead body for 7 years.
Carl was arrested and found sane by the doctors despite proofs he had sex with the dead corpse.

Linda Chase
She was the long time girlfriend of NASCAR fan Charles Zieger who died at the age of 67 in 2010. After her boyrfined death, she mummified his body and kept it in the armchair in the living room in the same position he used to watch his favourite car race on TV
Police has found the body of 18th months after Charles died. Linda, 72 years old at the time, admitted she kept cashing his social security checks.
She was sent to prison for fraud.




Lucio Chacue
Before his death, Lucio asked his wife to keep his body hidden in their house In Colombia, because he will come back to life later.
He died and 30 days later there was no sign of life as he claimed. His wife told everyone she does not know where he was, but she did. The husband was wrapped in plastic.
Since Lucio did not seem interested to come back to life, finally his wife asked the local priest  permission to bury the body.


Howard Lewis
Howard was 68 when his wife died. He kept her death as a secret from friends and neighbours telling everyone she was fine.
He continued working and leading a normal life.
After 5 months from her wife “disappearance”, police started to investigate. They found the body still in bed in the same position she died, surrounded by air fresheners to cover the smell.
People say that Howard was in shock and denial.

Parthasarathy Chopra
An Indian man has started an argument with his wife which ended up beating her violently. He left her locked in the room and returned in the evening when he found her hanged by the ceiling fan by her own hair.
She was still alive. He took her down, but instead of calling for help, he locked her again int eh bedroom. She died by the morning.
For the following 4 days, he kept telling their children she was sick.
The smell alerted the neighbours who called the Police, and the man was arrested.

Belgian Story
In 2013 a grieving widow from Belgium has been discovered living with her dead husband body for nearly a year.
Too traumatised by his death, the women slept beside her dead Husband for many months, despite the string smell and advanced stage of decomposition.
A forensic pathologist declared that the internal organs have  melted and liquefied during the advanced stages of the body rotting.
The discovery of the drama happened when the landlord noted that the rent has not been paid for months.

 Jean Stevens
Jean was on old lady who felt very lonely after her husband and her twin sister passed away in 2000 and 2009. She asked someone for help exhuming the bodies and have them placed in her home so she could talk to them.
The husband was sat down on the couch in her detached garage, and the sister was placed in a bedroom inside the house.
Jean has dressed up both corpses and used a lot of perfume to try to get rid of the smell.
When caught by the Police she said she wanted to look at them , touch them and talk to them.
She was 92.


The Bernstorff Family
Elaine, Anita, Frank and Margaret were 4 siblings living under the same roof for many years. They had a cluttered home and they never allowed for strangers inside. All neighbours believed they were embarrassed to show people in their messy house.
Elaine died in the early 70’s and she was never seen to be buried. No suspicion as yet.
Frank has died in 2003 at the age of 83. Anita and Margaret, the remaining sisters have ut blankets over his body and moved them in a different room than the one in which Elaine has been laying down for over 30 years.
Anita, the third sibling has died in 2008 at the age of 98, leaving Margaret tha last sister alive.
Margaret kept on living with all 3 unburied bodies in her house, and act normally to the rest of the world.
People were horrified to find out the reality later with the 3 dead corpses in a house close on the street.
